Undaunted Stewardship® is a cooperative and multi-faceted program led by federal and state agencies and leading agricultural industry organizations, to ensure the long-term maintenance of the environmental quality and economic productivity of agricultural landscapes by educating agricultural operators and the public sector that sustainable, economic environmental stewardship can be achieved on working landscapes.

In the Heart of Lewis & Clark Country, Landscapes Still Look the Same

The Lewis & Clark Expedition spent more time in present-day Montana than in any other state. And here, vast landscapes still look much as they did when the explorers first saw them, largely because of generations of family farming and ranching. Undaunted Stewardship® helps farm and ranch families perpetuate this legacy, preserving Montana's open spaces so that our nation can celebrate Lewis & Clark again in another 100 years.
